Service 04

Ceramic Coating

The best long-term investment you can make in your vehicle's finish. A professional-grade ceramic coating bonds directly to your paint, creating a hydrophobic, scratch-resistant barrier that dramatically reduces the effort of future maintenance. Ceramic coating requires paint correction first — we won't skip that step.

  • Surface decontamination and IPA wipe-down
  • Professional-grade ceramic coating application
  • 2–5+ year protection depending on package

Ceramic coatings are a commitment — and they're only as good as the paint prep underneath. That's why we never skip correction. If the paint isn't right, the coating won't be either.

Common Questions

Straight answers.

If you have a question that isn't covered here, just reach out.

A maintenance wash typically takes 1.5–2 hours. A full detail runs 4–6 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. Paint correction can take 1–3 days. Ceramic coating (which includes paint correction) is a full multi-day process. We'll give you a specific time estimate when we assess your vehicle.
Yes — always. A ceramic coating locks in whatever's underneath it. If your paint has swirl marks, scratches, or oxidation and we coat over them, those defects become permanent. Paint correction is a required step before we apply any coating. We won't skip it to save you money in the short term.
Not necessarily. If your vehicle is maintained regularly, a maintenance wash may be all you need. A full detail makes sense when: the interior has accumulated grime in hard-to-reach areas, the paint feels rough or contaminated, or it's been more than 6–12 months since a thorough clean. We'll assess your vehicle and give you an honest recommendation — if a wash is enough, that's what we'll tell you.
Paint correction removes defects in the clear coat — swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation. Deep scratches that go through the clear coat and into the base coat or primer cannot be fully corrected by polishing alone. We'll inspect your paint, give you an honest assessment of what's achievable, and let you decide how to proceed.
After curing (typically 24–48 hours), avoid getting the vehicle wet. After that, the maintenance is straightforward — hand wash only (no automatic car washes), a pH-neutral soap, and avoiding abrasive products. We'll walk you through a full care guide after the coating is complete so you protect your investment.
Yes — 100% mobile. We serve Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and greater San Diego County. We come to your home or workplace, no drop-off required. We bring our own water supply and power, so you don't need access to anything. Just park it and let us take care of the rest.
Submit a quote request and tell us about your vehicle, its current condition, and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll recommend the right service honestly — and if you're not sure what you need, we can assess in person. We'd rather tell you a $75 wash is all you need than upsell you into something unnecessary.
